Sayat has the responsibility to ensure your data is safe. This document will inform you how we collect, handle and process your data.
Sayat will collect your data for one or more of the following reasons:

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy policy.
We may also collect the following Special Categories of Personal Data about you: your physical or mental health details including whether you smoke, religious or other beliefs, political opinions, racial or ethnic origin or nationality. We also collect information about criminal convictions and offences when we conduct anti-money laundering searches.
If you fail to provide personal data
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
Sayat will handle and process your data in a plethora of ways including but not limited to the following:
. We will create a file with the information gathered for receipts/ debt statements and general information sent to you.
. To review your ability to sustain financial commitments by sharing your information with HMRC, credit reference agencies and employers.
. To safeguard your deposit.
. To ensure all information you have given is correct and complete.
. To prevent fraud.
. Companies/ individuals you have requested we share information with.
. To track and recover debts.
. We may share your information with traders ( only with your consent ).
Disclosures of your personal data
We may have to share your personal data with the parties set out below for us to comply with legal and regulatory requirements also for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests. Legitimate interest means the interest of our business in conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best service and the best and most secure experience. We make sure we consider and balance any potential impact on you (both positive and negative) and your rights before we process your personal data for our legitimate interests. We do not use your personal data for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you (unless we have your consent or are otherwise required or permitted to by law). .

Provider of tenancy deposit guarantees;
Inventory Clerks;
Tenant/Guarantor Referencing Companies;
Utility providers – Tenants of managed properties will have their contact details sent to providers in order that an account can be set up in their name;
Third parties involved in your transaction e.g. Landlords, Vendors, Tenants or Purchasers;
Third parties with whom we need to work with in order to perform our contract with you;
Other agents for the purpose of receiving due commission if we introduce you to a property and they later; and
Should the situation arise then we will share your name and contact details with NHS Track & Trace.
Keep us informed
It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.

Duration your information will be kept
Your information may be retained with Sayat for up to 10 years. We will periodically review whether the data stored is necessary.
